MIAMI, Sept. 2, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Genuine Health Group, a Miami-based, integrated healthcare company that helps physicians navigate the industry's transition to value-based care, announced Jenifer Montesino has been appointed the company's chief operating officer. Ms. Montesino, who has been with Genuine Health for more than a year, previously served as vice president of revenue and quality.
In her new role, Ms. Montesino will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, including revenue, quality, and physician engagement, as well as the Genuine Health At Home program, which provides home-based care for patients with chronic diseases, and the company's home health agency.

In her previous role, where she was responsible for quality improvement on behalf of the company's hundreds of physicians, Ms. Montesino published the white paper, "Five Strategies To Improve Quality Measures," in which she examines specific steps provider organizations can take to improve quality measures – measures that directly affect reimbursement and overall revenue.

Prior to joining Genuine Health Group, Ms. Montesino spent twelve years at UnitedHealthcare-owned and operated Medicare Advantage plans in Florida, where she concentrated on Medicare risk adjustment and overseeing primary care physicians' quality ratings from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
